I bought this car as I have mobility problems and wanted a high seated car. This car is 100% more funky and so roomy it feels like you get into a tardis once inside! There is the best road view once in the drivers seat I have ever had, you can see anything coming up the side of you due to the panaramic windscreen, also the mirrors are so large the views behind are brilliant. A plus for me are the rear parking sensors, once you have them you will always want them especially if you tend to hate parking - only available as standard on this model though!
The drive is great around town in the diesel model - smooth and nippy and the steering is light but differs according to speed. The luggage space is phenomenal and the seats can be flattened with one flick of the wrist!!
The only negatives are design faults really. The handbrake is way to low down and in the exclusive, the armrest if down blocks the use of it!! Also for all its storage spaces, the glovebox is tiny and is not lockable (there is no lockable storage in the car) which is an oversight I think, also the storage tray under the front seat is only on the passenger side (unlike the C3 where they are on both sides). However, these are trivialities and on the whole this is a funky car suitable for those with young families and those who go for a more practical car but want to be a little more contemporary - I think it is brilliant and it has won What Car Best Supermini for 2009!! |
